These instructions will show you how to install your highway pegs on the right side of bike, repeat the same process for the left side. You will need to flip over the template for drilling the left side holes.

Step 1

  • Remove the rubber floorboard cover ( The cover just pulls off there is no hardware holding it down)

Step 2

  • Place the included template into the floorboard. Template is marked left and right for each side of the bike. The template should be lined up with the front outside corner of the floorboard.

Step 3

  • To start the drilling process, mark the drill holes through the template by either using a punch, pen , or even drilling a small hole through the template.

Step 4

  • Drill out the 2 holes using a 3/8 drill bit . Then vacuum or blow out the metal shaving.

  • It is recommended to start a small pilot hole first. Using a smaller drill bit.

Step 4

Mounting the highway peg bracket

  • Insert the included two 3/8X2 button head bolts

  • Slide the two 1" aluminum spaces on to each bolt followed by one 3/8 flat washer.

  • Then slide the high peg bracket on to the bolts

  • ( Highway peg brackets are mark left and right, the slotted hole on the bracket should be towards the inside of the bike )

  • While holding all the parts together add  (one 3/8 flat washer, one 3/8 lock washer, and one 3/8 nut to each bolt in this order).

  • At this point you can snug up the bolts but we don't recommend fulling tightening everything up until you have had a chance to adjust the pegs to your liking.

Step 5

Mount Highway Peg Arm

  • Insert the 3/8X1 button head bolt in to the highway bracket

  • Followed by two 3/8 washers

  • Highway peg arm

  •  Two  smaller 3/8 washers

  •  Two 3/8 lock washers

  •  Two 3/8 acorn nuts

  • Snug the hardware but dont fully tighten the hardware until you have adjusted the pegs.

Side Note : The arm is reversible. You can install the arm with the arm arch up or the arm arching down

Step 6

Install the Peg

  • Bolt peg to the top of the highway peg arm (6mm Allen wrench)

Step 7

Reinstall the rubber foot pad back on to floorboard

Step 8

Adjust highway pegs as needed

  • Sit on bike and rest foot on pegs to determine if you need to adjust the peg for comfort.

  • Once you have found a conformable position for the pegs, fully tighten all the bolts. Make sure to periodically check the tightest of all bolts.

 

  • You may have to adjust again once you’ve rode the bike around a few times
