We have made some improvements to our pegs and started shipping the pegs

reassembled so there is no need to take the pegs apart before install.

You can install the pegs exactly as they come out of the box.

(With the peg and peg arm preinstalled on the base plate)

These are basic instructions for installing your new highway pegs.

If you have any questions during the install process,

please feel free to give us a call.

Start by removing the rubber pads on your factory floorboards

Next you will need to hold the L shape bracket up to the floorboard

to mark the two 5/16 holes that you will  be drilling.

Sometimes it is easier to take the arm off the L shaped

bracket or use a C clamp to hold the brackets in place.

We have since started including a paper template to help mark and drill the holes.

The paper template is marked for both the left and right side of the bike.

Place the paper template on the correct side you are working one.

The template should be placed to the front outside corner of the highway peg

After cleaning off the floorboards you are ready to bolt the bracket on.

Next bolt the arm back to the L Shape bracket.

The hardware can be bolted  on either way with the acorn nut on the inside or outside. The arms can also be flipped to point forward or up more . Try different options until you find what works for you.

Last step is to add the Peg on the arm bracket and

double check to make sure all bolts are tight.

Try pegs out and if needed, adjust the pegs until you find the position that is comfortable to you
